Extraction Column Work Principle
The Rotary Disc Extraction Column is comprised of five major components: oil-water separator (upper and bottom), tower body, rotary disc system, feeding and discharging system, and an electronic control system.
The inner diameter and height of the tower are customized according to the technical process materials. Multiple static rings are arranged on the inner wall of the tower at a set distance. A turbine is fixed on the central axis. The static rings divide the tower into several mixing zones; each mixing zone achieves the mixing of the two phases through the movement of the ring. At the same time, each mixing zone constitutes a theoretical stage during which the two-phase liquid achieves multi-stage countercurrent contact mixing.
The upper and bottom oil-water separators are separation components. The liquid with low density is discharged from the upper oil-water separator, while the liquid with high density is discharged from the bottom oil-water separator.
Both the upper and bottom oil-water separators are equipped with observation windows, making it easy to observe the separation interface of the two-phase liquids.
